Nichr - for Adult Creators
Nichr is a new marketplace built specifically for adult game developers. We've just soft launched the game, showing it off to creators before we go fully live to our customers. If you're an adult game dev and you've been looking for a proper home for your work, this is your invitation to get in early.
Why Nichr exists
Despite the stigma, Adult games are a legitimate creative medium with talented developers making impressive work. But the options for selling that work have always been limited or shaky at best. Scattered file hosts, unreliable payment processors, platforms that treat adult content as an afterthought or bury it behind layers of friction. We've talked to one Australian dev that as been outright geoblocked from their marketplaces. We deserve better than that.
Nichr is built from the ground up for adult games. Not bolted on, not tolerated - built for. Every decision we've made, from the storefront design to the payment infrastructure, is shaped by what this community actually needs. We're not a general-purpose platform that happens to allow adult content. This is what we do.
We've seen what happens when developers rely on platforms that aren't built for them. Policy changes that happen overnight. Payment processors pulling out with no warning. Storefronts that hide adult content behind so many filters that players never actually find it. We started Nichr because we think there's a better way to do this - a platform where adult game developers are the priority, not an inconvenience.
What creators get
A curated storefront. Every game on Nichr is reviewed before it goes live. That means your work sits alongside other quality titles, not buried in a sea of asset flips and abandoned projects. A smaller, focused catalogue means more visibility for every game on the platform. We're not trying to list everything - we're trying to list the good stuff.
Transparent fees. 17.5% on games priced $9.99 and above. 25% on games under $9.99. That's it. No hidden charges, no surprise deductions, no processing fees stacked on top. You set your price, you keep the rest. We publish our fee structure openly because we think you should know exactly what you're signing up for before you upload a single file.
Having said that, creators in some regions may incur a small additional fee on payouts to cover international transfer costs, typically under $3. This is deducted from your payout amount - contact us beforehand if you'd like to know the exact fee for your region.
Proper tools. You get a full creator dashboard with earnings tracking, sales stats, and payout management. Upload your game files, covers, screenshots, and demos directly to the platform. Manage your listing, update versions, and track how your games are performing - all in one place. No juggling between third-party hosts and spreadsheets. Everything lives where it should.
Payouts that work. Bank transfer payouts with a $50 minimum, processed within 2-5 business days of your request. No waiting months. No mystery deductions. We know that getting paid reliably is the baseline for any serious platform, and we treat it that way. Card and crypto payment options for buyers are coming soon - we're finalising our payment integrations now.
Your own store page. Every creator gets a dedicated store page where players can browse your full catalogue. It's your space on the platform - your games, your brand, your audience. We want players to follow creators, not just buy individual games. Building that relationship between developer and player is something we're actively investing in.
Demo support. If your game has a demo, players can download it straight from your listing. We think demos are one of the most effective ways to convert browsers into buyers, and we've built first-class support for them. Upload a demo alongside your full game and let your work speak for itself.
Why now
We're soft launching because we want to build this with creators, not just for them. The developers who join now get to shape the platform while it's still taking form. What features matter most to you? What's been missing from other platforms? What would make you actually want to sell here long-term? We're listening, and the earlier you're involved, the more influence you have.
There's also a practical advantage to getting in early. Right now, every game on Nichr gets prominent placement - featured slots, front page visibility, the kind of exposure that's impossible to replicate once the catalogue grows to hundreds of titles. The first creators on the platform are the ones new players see first. That window doesn't stay open forever.
We've also kept creator applications invite-based during early access. That's deliberate. We want to make sure every creator who joins has a good experience, that the tools work the way they should, and that we can give proper attention to the games coming through our review pipeline. As we scale, the process will open up - but right now, early creators get a level of direct support and responsiveness that simply won't be possible at a larger scale.
What we're working on
The core platform is solid. Accounts, uploads, game management, the review pipeline, and creator dashboards. Our current focus is on three things.
First, payments. Crypto payment infrastructure is ready to go, and card payments are being finalised.
Second, discovery. This is a big one for us. We don't want players clicking through fifty pages hoping something catches their eye. Better tags, better filtering, and a platform designed around surfacing the right games to the right people. That benefits everyone - players find what they want, and creators reach the audience that's actually looking for their kind of game. When we say discovery is at the heart of Nichr, we mean it. It's not a buzzword - it's the thing we're going to be spending the most time on.
Third, creator tools. The dashboard works, but we want it to be great. More detailed analytics, better upload management, and features we haven't announced yet that are directly shaped by what our early creators tell us they need. If you've ever wished another platform did something differently, this is your chance to tell us.
Finally, legal and compliance. Before we hard launch, we're making sure Nichr meets every obligation we can identify - not just the minimum. That means (but is not limited to) proper age assurance that meets Ofcom's standards under the Online Safety Act 2023, full business identity disclosure under the Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002, content policies that explicitly align with payment processor requirements and Visa/Mastercard network rules, transparent creator terms covering chargebacks and processor obligations, GDPR-compliant data handling, and EU consumer protection compliance including withdrawal rights at checkout. We're also reviewing our payment infrastructure to make sure both card and crypto processing meet UK regulatory requirements including FCA and anti-money laundering obligations. We know that none of this matters if the platform gets taken down over something avoidable, so we're treating compliance as a launch requirement, not an afterthought.
